Fans With Cans:
Everyday people making a difference – EVERY DAY.
Through the support of events and individuals, Fans With Cans (FWC) helps feed people in need. We provide food outlets with non-perishable food and money by having our members accept food donations, then deliver them to the outlets. FWC collects donations of money, in-kind gifts, and/or time, then distributes and/or allocates what’s collected.
As the number of Americans in-need increases during these uncertain economic times, the importance of these donations — ESPECIALLY during non-peak donation periods — becomes critical.
Fans With Cans has fed over 170,000 families in 4 states. JWow — an author, trainer, urban shaman, and multi-media artist/performer — founded Fans With Cans in 1997. Here commitment is to significantly reducing instances of hunger in the United States of America first, then worldwide as Fans With Cans grows.

JWow has performed with Grammy winners like Roberta Flack; her visual art has been featured in the #1 American Art fine art gallery; she’s an international best-selling author; and her work — in the arena of building bridges across diverse cultures — is sought after by both thought leaders to hone their own work. She sums up her goals simply: “As an urban shaman, I’m honoured to feed people’s hearts, minds, and souls. I also have the privilege of feeding families in need with food and donations from Fans With Cans.”
